"The availability of safe blood is not just a logistical challenge—it is a matter of life and death."
At Bagmo, we are bridging the gap between urban medical centers and rural healthcare facilities. Our innovative Blood Bag Monitoring System ensures that every unit of blood is tracked, monitored, and verified from the moment of donation to the moment of transfusion.
By combining a robust blood centre software with cutting-edge RFID based blood bag tracking, we provide a solution that is affordable, scalable, and designed specifically to meet the resource constraints of markets like India.
How It Works
An intelligent ecosystem removing "blind spots". Digitizing the physical journey of every single bag.
Identity & Tagging
Every individual blood product (blood bag) is fitted with a unique Radiofrequency Identity (RFID) tag. Unlike standard barcodes, these smart tags carry dynamic identity data. This creates a "digital twin" for the physical blood bag, allowing our system to track it individually rather than just as a batch.
Smart Storage
We transform standard refrigerators and transport boxes into "smart units." Every storage unit and transport container is retrofittable with RFID Scanners and Smart Temperature Sensors. When a blood bag is transferred from a Mother Blood Bank to a storage unit or transport box, the scanner immediately notes its entry. The system knows exactly which bag is in which box.
Real-Time Data
This hardware connects via the internet to our central Bagmo Tracker Web App. The system continuously records and transmits three critical data points: Temperature (Ensuring the cold chain is never broken), Position (Real-time location tracking), and Expiry Date (Automated alerts for aging inventory).
Hub and Spoke
In a typical Hub & Spoke model (Blood Collection Centre to Blood Storage Centre), Mother Blood Banks can now "see" into remote storage centers. Because the data is end-to-end, the Mother Blood Bank can trace the history of a returned bag. If the temperature remained stable, the bag can be accepted back into inventory—eliminating the wastage of precious blood due to lack of data.
Patient Verification
Safety doesn't stop at storage. Our system extends to the bedside. By matching the patient’s wristband ID with the Blood Bag ID (via RFID or Barcode), we prevent transfusion errors. This is true Vein-to-Vein tracking: ensuring the right blood reaches the right patient, every time.
The 30-Minute / 6°C Rule
WHO guidelines state blood must be stored between 2°C and 6°C. If exposed to ambient temperature for >30 mins, it is often deemed unsafe.
!The Manual Problem
No authenticated data proves a bag stayed safe during transport. Result: Massive Wastage and rural shortages during emergencies.

One System for Everything
All-in-One Platform
Since Bagmo provides both the comprehensive Blood Centre Software and the RFID Monitoring System, you do not need to maintain separate software for inventory management and temperature tracking.
Seamless Data
Your donor records, inventory levels, and temperature safety data all live in one unified dashboard.
Single Point of Support
You have one reliable partner for your entire operation. There is no need to coordinate between different vendors for software and hardware support—we handle it all.
Maximize Your Existing Infrastructure
Smart Technology, Zero Capital Waste
Use What You Own
There is no need to purchase specific "Smart Refrigerators," build customized cold rooms, or discard your current costly PRBC refrigerators.
Plug-and-Play Simplicity
Our solution turns your current refrigerators into smart, tracked devices. The installation is non-invasive—we do not drill holes or void your equipment warranties.
Future-Proof Flexibility
By keeping the technology separate from the refrigerator, you retain the freedom to choose any refrigerator brand in the future. If you upgrade your fridge later, our system simply moves with you. It is automated, affordable, and risk-free.
Complete Independence
You Control Your Consumables
Sourcing Freedom
You are not dependent on Bagmo for daily consumables. Our system works with standard RFID tags that can be purchased from any vendor or online platform (like Amazon or IndiaMart).
Best Market Price
This open approach allows you to shop for the best prices in the market, ensuring your running costs remain low and sustainable in the long run.

Competitive Analysis
Bagmo vs. Market Alternatives
| Feature / Criteria | Bagmo Blood Monitor Solution | Other RFID Competitors |
|---|---|---|
| RFID Tag Type | Reusable Hard Tags. Durable tags designed to be sanitized and reused thousands of times. | Single-Use "Smart Labels". Disposable RFID stickers that must be discarded after one use. |
| Cost per Blood Bag | Negligible. Since tags are reused, the cost is a one-time investment amortized over years. | High Recurring Cost. You pay for a new expensive RFID tag for every single blood bag. |
| Operational Cost | Low. No recurring consumable cost for tracking hardware. | High. Constant need to purchase new tags creates a permanent financial drain. |
| Sustainability | Eco-Friendly. Reduces electronic waste by reusing tags. | High Waste. Generates significant electronic waste (chips/antennas) with every bag used. |
| Capital Investment | Low. Designed to be affordable and retrofittable to existing equipment. | High. Often requires specific, expensive proprietary refrigerators and readers. |
| Traceability Scope | Vein-to-Vein (End-to-End). Tracks from Donor → Transport → Storage → Patient. | Fragmented. Often limited to just inventory counting within the bank. |
| Infrastructure Requirement | Retrofittable. Works with your existing iceboxes and refrigerators. | Rigid. Often forces you to buy their specific "Smart Fridges." |
| Returnability of Blood | Yes. Continuous temperature history allows safe return of unused blood to inventory. | No. Without continuous environmental logging, returned blood is often wasted. |
